Julia Walker/Choral Director

Hello My name is Julia Walker! I am the Choral Director at PRMS! I will be teaching both choir and general music along with Ms. Hawkins.

 

I graduated from USC with a Music Education degree and a minor in Mandarin Chinese language and culture. (Go Gamecocks!) My main instrument is voice but I enjoy experimenting with any instrument. I have performed along side University Choir, Concert choir, and Garnet Chorale at USC. I am an active member of the American Choral Director Association and the South Carolina Music Educator's Association.

 

I have big plans for the Jammin' Jackets and cannot wait to perform with the choirs. In my classroom don't be afraid to take risks and try hard! See you around Pine Ridge!
