Principal's Message

As the calendar moves into 2020 the staff has been working hard to ensure our students are having a successful school year. The staff has spent a lot of time identifying what is essential for our students to be successful at the next grade level and in the future. We have made many adjusts to our instructional practices and to our morning STING classes to ensure that the transfer of essential skills takes place. Please know that we pledge to maintain our high expectations always adapting to the changing trends and needs of our community, nation, and world.
I also want to reiterate that the success of Pine Ridge Middle students, teachers, staff, and administrators depends on the active involvement and support of our parents.  I encourage you to get involved in your child's education through school visits, School Improvement Council participation, and volunteer opportunities.

We also need your help in making sure that students are in school every day and on time; have completed homework assignments; and are reading at home each day.  This support will help tremendously as we maintain our GOLD expectations for all students.
We will work together to make Pine Ridge Middle School the best we can for every student, and please remember my door is always open. It has been a great beginning to 2020!
Principal David V. Basile, Ed.D.
