Professional Learning Communities Coach

     Hello! My name is Bryant Stewart, and I'm excited to be a part of the Pine Ridge Team for this school year! I've spent the last several years as a middle school teacher in Lexington School District 2, and most recently I've served in the role of a 6th Grade English Language Arts teacher. I'm also a proud product of Lex 2, having attended Airport High School ( c/o 2010). I underwent my professional training at Newberry College, home of the Wolves, earning a Bachelor's of Science degree in Middle Level Education #rahrahNewberry-berry.

 

     As the PLC Coach at Pine Ridge Middle School, my job is to support the instructional and behavioral program of the school in all areas. This includes supporting administrators, teachers, and students in an effort to help learning at a high level happen for all students. A school that is embedded in PLC lifestyle revolves around three big ides: a focus on learning, collaborative culture, and being driven by results. I'm here to help that culture continue to grow and thrive. 

 

     When I'm not at work I enjoy spending time with my beautiful wife, Mrs. Stewart, and our two dogs, Rocky and Darcy. If you're looking for me somewhere outside of my professional hours, odds are that you could find me at a pickleball court, reading a good book in a hammock, or enjoying the outdoors somewhere in the southeast!
