WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Do you know a teacher who would be a great addition to Lexington School District Two?
Whether a new teacher or experienced educator, please encourage them to attend our Lexington Two Teacher Job Fair, scheduled for 4 p.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday, January 27, at the district’s Performing Arts Center, 3205 Platt Springs Road.
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and talk with administrators and teachers from the district’s schools and educational programs to learn more about positions for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year.
Lexington Two will once again offer a $2,500 sign-on bonus for new teacher hires in the critical needs areas of special education and secondary math and science. The district’s starting salary for teachers who are just beginning their careers in education is $51,000, among the area’s highest.
