WEST COLUMBIA, SC -- Lexington Two has released a modified calendar for the 2023-2024 school year.
The calendar designates the first day for students as Monday, August 7, with a final half day of the school year on Thursday, May 23.
The new calendar also designates a week-long Thanksgiving break and spring break, a two-week winter break, and three weather makeup days as required by state law.
The calendar was approved by the school board at its monthly meeting on Thursday, January 19. Input on the calendar was gathered from district schools, administrators and others.
