Donation from Chance Lexington (photo of the group)

PINE RIDGE, S.C. — Pine Ridge Middle School is celebrating two community partnerships that are helping make a positive difference for students throughout the school year.

The Pine Ridge Women’s Club has partnered with Pine Ridge Middle School to help make every student’s birthday a little sweeter. Each month, the organization will provide birthday cupcakes so students celebrating birthdays that month can be recognized and celebrated at school.

This partnership supports Pine Ridge Middle School’s continued focus on creating a welcoming school culture where students feel known, valued, and connected to their school community. A simple birthday celebration is one more way to remind students that they are an important part of the Pine Ridge family.

Pine Ridge Middle School is also grateful for the continued support of Chance Lexington, which recently donated $750 to the school’s Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) fund. The donation will help provide incentives that recognize students for positive behavior, academic achievement, growth, and making good choices throughout the school year.

Chance Lexington has been a valued community partner of Pine Ridge Middle School, and this marks the third year the organization has contributed funds to support the school and its students.

“We are incredibly thankful for community partners who believe in our students and invest in our school,” said Pine Ridge Middle School Principal Rebecca Burriss. “Whether it is making sure a student feels special on their birthday or helping us recognize students for their hard work, growth, and positive choices, these partnerships make a meaningful impact on our school culture. We are grateful to the Pine Ridge Women’s Club and Chance Lexington for being part of our Pine Ridge family.”

At Pine Ridge Middle School, strong community partnerships are an important part of creating a school where students feel supported, celebrated, and encouraged to succeed. The school extends its sincere appreciation to both the Pine Ridge Women’s Club and Chance Lexington for their generosity and commitment to Pine Ridge students.
